Verstappen joined Scuderia Toro Rosso in 2015, making him the youngest Formula One driver in history, surpassing the record of Jaime Alguersuari by nearly two years. Verstappen went on to score an impressive 49 points in his debut season, taking two fourth places.

At the age of just 18, Max won the 2016 Spanish Grand Prix on his debut for Red Bull Racing, becoming the youngest-ever driver and the first Dutch driver to win a Formula One Grand Prix. Over the course of the next four seasons, he achieved another nine race victories, including the first for a Honda-powered driver since 2006, and three pole positions. He finished the 2019 and 2020 championships in third place.

In 2021 Max Verstappen secured the Formula 1 world championship in dramatic fashion after one of the most exciting seasons in F1 history.
